Taft History Fair
Each year hundreds of Taft students participate in the Chicago Metro History Fair, part of National History Day. Students formulate the questions and dig into the many historical resources around the city to answer them. The I&S Department sponsors our own Taft History Fair showcasing the best work of original research on local history by Taft students. Students who do well at Taft’s History Fair go on to compete at city-wide and state-wide events. In the past we have done very well at this events and in 2013 were named the Chicago NHD School of the Year. We hope the tradition of historic inquiry continues at Taft and offer updates below.
Senior History Fair Update! 2016 was a big year for Taft’s History Fair, held on February 26th.
