What is the IB Career-related Certificate (IBCC)?
The IBCC program is open to new students living in Taft’s attendance area and current Taft students who are not in the IB Diploma Programme or in Avid.

The IBCC Framework
The IBCC framework begins in the 11th grade (prerequisites for the program are taken in the 9th and 10th grades) and allows students to specialize in, and focus on, a career-related pathway. The programme’s three-part framework comprises the study of:
CTE Courses Offered:
All Freshman IBCC students should take Computer Information Technology, sophomores who intend to register for the IBCC in junior and senior years will take Information Technology in their sophomore year. Junior and senior students will then choose from the following pathways that we offer:
Diploma Programme courses:
All IBCC students will take IB English III and IV SL and have a choice of these IB Diploma Electives:
1 year courses:
2 year courses:
Students also have the option to take any of the World Languages that are offered at the regular level.
